About Us

The Dayton/Miami Valley region is rich with intriguing historic and modern-day sports personalities. Dayton Sports Huddle: The DiSH, is a Dayton-based TV show aired via its YouTube Channel, Facebook Live and this online publication that features engaging interviews with current and former professional, collegiate and high school athletes, coaches and personalities; and content about local youth, high school, college and pro sports.

The show is co-hosted by former professional baseball player and longtime local baseball and basketball coach Ritchie Moody and veteran sports writer, sports blogger and sports publicist Jeff Louderback. Our partner, Damien Burrs Jr. of Dundidit Sports Clips, is the show’s producer and the designer of this online publication.

Dayton Sports Huddle: The DiSH is filmed weekly at Submarine House at 503 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. in Washington Township.

High school sports are an integral part of the Dayton Sports Huddle mission to tell the stories of the athletes, programs and personalities across Miami Valley’s sports scene.

We cover the GWOC (Greater Western Ohio Conference), Dayton City League, the SWBL (Southwestern Buckeye League), Greater Catholic League and Metro Buckeye Conference. We will cover the newly created Miami Valley League when it debuts. We also feature interviews on the show and written profiles on the site of athletes, coaches and personalities at high schools in the region.

We also bring attention to Wright State and University of Dayton sports as well as content and interviews about local athletes who are excelling at the collegiate level locally and nationwide. In addition, we provide coverage of current and former pro athletes from the Dayton area as well as insight on the Dayton Dragons.

Feel free to reach out to us here and on Facebook with comments and guest suggestions. Also, if you would like to join our team of sponsors, please contact us. We are excited about telling the stories of the Miami Valley sports scene!
